Celebrate spring in the Italian countryside with foraging excursions, tasting menus at local restaurants, sightseeing trips and mild-weather soft adventure.
Expect a week of touring and tasting the springtime bounty in Umbria. This 8-day, 7-night tour is our Immersive Umbria experience, with some special seasonal activities, springtime dining experiences, and plenty of time under the Italian sun. Some experiences on this trip are only available in April and May, and it’s one of our favorite trips to run during one of the best times to visit Italy.
What’s not included:
Liz and your driver will meet you at Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO) for minibus transfer to Allerona (about a 2-hour drive). Along the way, we’ll give you an introduction to the week ahead.

We’ll dip into Lazio, one of the regions bordering Umbria, and visit one of the area’s most enigmatic sights.
